RECIPE: CHEESY STEAK SANDWICH ON THE GRILL WITH HABANERO & CARROT

A Steak Sandwich? Don’t mind if we do. For the ultimate steak sandwich with a bit of heat and sweet, try this quick and easy recipe.

INGREDIENTS:

1 beef scotch fillet steak
Sliced pickles
Red onion, thinly sliced
Parmesan, grated
Good quality sliced bread, toasted (we used sourdough)
Fancy Hank’s Habanero & Carrot Hot Sauce

THE METHOD:

Preheat BBQ.

Using a meat mallet, let out all of your aggression and flatten the steak as best you can.

When it’s nice and thin, season both sides and spray steak with oil.

Cook steaks for 3 mins each side or until cooked to your liking. Transfer to a plate.

While hot, add grated parmesan to one side of the steak and allow to melt.

Add a little butter or mayo to your bread, and add steak, sliced red onion and pickles.

Top with Habanero & Carrot Hot Sauce for a hint of spice and sweetness.

Slice, and enjoy!
