RECIPE: BARBECUE PORK RIBS

Keen to barbecue this summer but want to do something a little more special than snags? Try our barbecue pork ribs - an easy barbecue recipe that only requires time, rather than effort.

THE INGREDIENTS:

One rack of meaty pork ribs

Fancy Hank’s BBQ Pepper

Fancy Hank’s Original BBQ Sauce

THE METHOD:

Using a dull knife, slide the tip under the membrane covering the back of each rack of ribs.

Lift and loosen the membrane until it breaks, then grab a corner of it with a paper towel and pull it off.

Generously coat ribs (both sides) with Fancy Hank’s BBQ Pepper and FH Taco 

Smoke in kettle bbq for 3 hours keeping BBQ between 90 - 120 110 degrees - topping up charcoal as needed.

Lay you rack of pork ribs on a bed of tin foil 800mm long, generously cover the ribs with BBQ sauce and wrap the tin foil around, sealing in all the bbq sauce. put back into you BBQ for 2hrs again at 110 degrees.

For the last hour of cooking brush on thick coat of Fancy Hank's Original BBQ Sauce - reapplying every 20mins. Pork ribs should have a glossy glaze and be just coming away from bone.
