RECIPE: BARBECUE BBQ CHICKEN

Do you love the flavours of a BBQ Chicken Pizza but just want…more? We got you.

Forget ‘engagement chicken’, because this is some of the best roast chicken you will ever try and will certainly put a ring on it. Tastes complex (you might even say ‘Fancy’ but in fact, this recipe is super simple!

This one can be cooked in the oven or on the barbecue.

INGREDIENTS:

1 free range chicken
Taco Rub
BBQ Pepper
Original BBQ Sauce
Olive oil

THE METHOD:

Pre-heat oven to 200c, or get your barbecue up to temp, place your chook in a large baking dish or tray and cover with oil

Liberally sprinkle Fancy Hank’s Taco Rub and BBQ Pepper over the chook and massage in.

Pop it in the oven or on the grill for 20 minutes.

Take the chook out and liberally baste with Fancy Hank’s BBQ Sauce and throw back on the grill for a further 30 minutes, basting every ten minutes or so.

Once cooked, take the chook out and allow to rest for ten minutes.
